MUSEVENI’S FOUL STATEMENTS ON LUO COMMUNITY A SHAME.

Coast Women In Development together with some of the women in the Coastal Province of Kenya strongly caveats Ugandan’s President Museveni messy statement against the Migingo Island and the Luo society of Kenya.

Addressing a press conference at Palm Tree Hotel, Mombasa, the women called on the government to suspend any joint action with Uganda because he has no respect for our Luo brothers and sisters.

We are aware that he has killed more than 200,000 Luos in Northern Uganda and displaced over 3,000 000 of the same tribe in Uganda, if he is too terrified of Mr. Kony he should not vent his frustration with the Luo society of Kenya, Migingo is not a tribal issue but a Kenyan territorial concern.

Migingo belongs to Kenya not to the Luo community and the youths who uprooted the Railway in Kenya were Kenyan children born by the women of Kenya.

Museveni has no business in Kibera and if he has issues with our Prime Minister let him face him and not frustrate our innocent women and children.

Migingo Island

He has no right whatsoever to victimize one tribe (Luo) to give his judgments on the Migingo Island which is not even in his boundary.

What was his essence of raising Uganda's flag in the Kenyan territory? When Museveni is proved wrong, he diverts his anger to the waters and then personalizes the issue with one community. Museveni, we are all Kenyans and one people! Think and act intelligently.

He has killed citizens of Rwanda, D.R Congo Sudan but our Luo`s of Kenya will deal with him scathingly. We dare you touch any child from the Kenyan soil. You are an embarrassment to the African fraternity.

Museveni should concentrate in reviewing land reforms in his country and stop frustrating our Luo brothers in the island, if he has been proven wrong then he should not personalize the matter with the Luo Community.

We demand that President Kibaki come out clearly and tell Kenyans what he has been discussing with Museveni, and now that Museveni has conceded that Migingo is in Kenya we want the Government to redirect 140 million shillings it is wasting on the survey  mission to the over 10million Kenyans dying of hunger. We as well want the Government to give the fishermen around Migingo and its residents full security.

Museveni's arrogance is too archaic. If he has nothing to say, he should shut up.
